This page lists every integration TestOwl offers and what each one does. Jira and Claude Connect (Desktop & CLI) are available today; Slack, GitHub Runners and Microsoft Teams are in development and marked as coming soon. Integrations are connected per project from the Integrations page in the app.
JiraAvailable
Create Jira tickets straight from failed steps in a TestOwl report, and see each ticket's status back in the report. A project administrator connects a Jira Cloud site through Atlassian's own sign-in and consent page — TestOwl never sees your Atlassian password — and chooses which Jira projects TestOwl may create tickets in.
Nothing is sent automatically. When someone sends a failure to Jira, the ticket can include the test case and step names, the error message, a link back to the TestOwl report and optional details such as labels, priority and assignee. The person can review and edit the text first, and TestOwl removes Secret values, masking-rule matches and common credential patterns before sending. Screenshots are attached only if an administrator has turned screenshot attachments on for the project.
Claude Connect (Desktop & CLI)Available
Connect Claude Desktop and the Claude Code CLI directly to TestOwl through the desktop app. Using TestOwl's local MCP server, you can ask Claude to author tests, describe user flows, and run "Ask AI" prompts using your own Anthropic account without consuming TestOwl AI credits.
Setup is managed directly in the TestOwl Desktop App under Settings → Connect Claude, configuring your local Claude Desktop config and~/.claude.json securely with automatic backups.
GitHub Actions & RunnersComing soon
Trigger TestOwl runs from your build pipeline, starting with GitHub. A GitHub Action will run your test suites against an environment from a workflow and fail the job when tests fail, so a broken build does not reach your users. Other CI systems will follow.
Until then, you can run tests on a schedule from TestOwl itself, or trigger them manually in the cloud or locally through the desktop app.
EmailAvailable
When a scheduled run fails, is missed or has issues, or a schedule is paused or resumed, TestOwl emails the project's Owners and Admins so someone can act on it.
