We kept seeing the same pattern in QA teams. Automated tests were meant to save time, but most of the effort went into keeping them working. A designer renamed a button or a developer changed a class name, and a morning disappeared into fixing selectors. Writing tests needed code, so only a few people on the team could do it, and manual testers — who often knew the product best — were left running the same checks by hand before every release.
The tools we tried made us choose: code frameworks that were powerful but slow to write and expensive to maintain, or recorders that were quick to start with but produced tests that broke on the first UI change. We built TestOwl to remove that trade-off — tests anyone on the team can record, that repair themselves when the page changes, and that run the same way on a laptop or in the cloud.
TestOwl is a no-code test automation platform for web applications. You record a user journey in a real browser, and TestOwl turns it into a test case you can edit step by step, reuse in other tests and run against different environments and test data.
Tests run locally through the desktop app or in TestOwl cloud execution, across 5,000+ browser, version and OS combinations and 30+ emulated mobile and tablet profiles. When a locator stops matching, self-healing finds the element again so the test keeps running, and every run produces a report with screenshots, video and logs. See how TestOwl works for the full workflow.
